THREE RED WINES NO ONTARIO WINE LOVER SHOULD MISS

Brilliant saturated red colour. Expect ripe red berry and cherry aromas supported by chocolatey nuances. In the mouth melon and vanilla flavours develop. The mouth feel is cashmere-smooth, and the finish is long. Pair with met dishes and semi-hard cheeses.

Brilliant red saturated colour. Juicy plum aromas jump out of the glass. This mid-weight, dry wine possesses layered fruit. The finish is long and satisfying. Enjoy on its own or with meat specialties or semi hard cheeses.

Shiraz, 2016, Harvey River Estate, Western Australia Brilliant intense red. Blackberry aromas, and sweet spice notes shine through from the first to the last sip. In the mouth the wine opens up to intense ripe red berry flavours, and silky tannins resulting from French oak barrel aging. The finish is long and memorable.
Pair with deeply flavoured dishes, or hard cheeses.

Sangria

1 bottle of Shiraz, Harvey River States
1 bottle (750 ml.) 7 Up or Sprite
30 ml. of brandy
30 ml., triple sec or Cointreau
Chop – oranges or limes, then with mix berries.
Blend all ingredients except the fruit.
Add several square cubes of ice.
Add the fruits and serve.
